Jet Lag Dreams
It always takes us a full week to adjust to major time zone changes, and it's usually an interesting week (made even more interesting by the fact that I have to wake up at 5:00 am for work).
A few nights ago, Little Son sat bolt upright in bed, his eyes wide open, and said, "Did you make a mushroom thing?"
The next night, I went to say goodnight to Big Son, who was already sound asleep. He, too, sat up, and said, "The chips are made by different companies."
"Computer chips or potato chips?" I asked.
"I don't know. I'm asleep," he said, and rolled back over.
This morning, I woke up and wondered what to feed the Russian circus orphans for breakfast. There were so many of them!
I walked into the kitchen, and took out the big bag of Cheerios, thinking I could feed them all cereal.
Then I turned around, and......they were....... they........
Oh.
Nevermind.
