Four-Year-Old Humor
Little Son: "Knock knock!"
Me: "Who`s there?"
Little Son: "Jacket!"
Me: "Jacket who?"
Little Son, barely able to speak as he rolls on the floor with laughter: "Jacket toilet man!"
Cute the first few times. Sure.
But by the tenth time....?
Please hit the road, Jacket Toilet Man, and don`t you come back no more.

Two-Year-Old Humor:
I ask the Munchkin what she wants for lunch. She declared, "I wanna eat bicycles!" I laugh, she laughs. It was funny the first day. Now it's every day. Please make it stop. Please?
I share your pain. I think Tim was 9 or 10 before he finally figured out how to do knock-knock jokes.
Funny the difference in kids. Jim r) has a natural sense of humor very like his dad's and is funny without even trying. He loves nothing more than to take a good story and make it better.
Tim shares my sense of the ridiculous and tendency to sarcasm but he's never had luck with jokes. Neither have I.
My 4 year old can tell a decent joke now (kind of), but he has that annoying habit of saying, "Was that funny Mommy? Was it? Funny? Yes?"
No, son, it wasn't.
Boys start their love of potty humor early don't they?
Sounds like some of the jokes at my house!
Mary, mom to many
I don't get the joke. Am I stupid?
