Happy happy, joy joy

Big Son had a huge grin on his face when he came out of school today. No, Huggy Nun did not resign, effective immediately -- even better, he got an invitation to a birthday sleepover party this Friday. Only five boys were invited, and he was one.

"D. only invited his friends! And I`m his friend!"

This puts our overall household sentiment firmly in the "positive" category, cancelling out the lingering negative sentiment from Daughter`s team losing both of their weekend basketball games, as well as someone finding Mama`s blog while searching, "small Philippino boobs."

The problem with that search, btw, is that philippinos don't have boobs. PhilippinAs do. In either case, I'd send 'em on over to Dutch.

Unless they are overweight Philipinos, Roger.

Seriously, that's great news and you all needed a little of that.

You know, it's the little things that count. Although I am sure your son is thinking this is MUCh more than a little thing. Yahoo for you!

Hi, I read your post that commented on MiM's original post (poor Hub!) and wanted to say, Congrats on working hard to be a role model for your kids.

I've learned, in my young years, that you can't hate people for who they are. You can only hate people who refuse to change. Sounds like Hub is not one of those. Congrats to him, and to you, for making a beautiful relationship that spans cultures, languages, and eras.
