Be Careful What You Wish For
At first I was grateful, then surprised, then intimidated by the number of incredibly cool and worthy people who took the time to comment below. You mean if all my posts start to suck, I`m going to disappoint this many people?
Excuse me, while I go hide under my bed for a bit, to ponder that....

don't worry. even your suckiest post will be much better than my best post.
:D
hehehehe ya you hit the big time girl! Have fun and go with it. We wouldn't be here if you were not fun and good.
I don't think you have to worry. You are an excellent writer and you have great kids to write about.
i wouldn't worry about disappointing anyone - you have wonderful writing. the way i see it you blog from the heart and have a way with words that makes people want to come back and read more!
Not to worry. You are one of the best writers I've seen. (For once I'm not kidding).
wow! 62+ comments on your 'delurking' post- that certainly is a lot of pressure. I personally would ask for delurkers but I'm afraid I wouldn't have any and what fun would that be? Your writing is so much better than mine- I really enjoy it and look forward to new posts!
Have no fear. And try not to get writer's block while you're at it!
I'll delurk here instead: love your blog. I am married to a Japanese man as well, and live in Osaka. We have a six-month old boy, and I translate equity reports for a brokerage from home for our living (yes, ours - I have a SAH Husband).
I found you through Blogging Baby and kept coming back. No blog yet, but my husband does have one (in Japanese):
